I would love to have a Nook to use with my reluctant readers in 6th grade. I find that when I provide a variety of formats from which to read, my reluctant readers are some of my first to try them! And I have never read anything using this form of technology so I would be learning right along with them!

ReplyDeleteI love the giveaway, but am bummed that just because I do not blog, I lose out on 10 entries. Makes it hard for an average teacher without a blog to win.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I forgot to post that I would so use it for read alouds, read to someone, read to self, and for reading with the teacher.
ReplyDeleteThe Nook would be great for read alouds as well as working with reading groups and emergent readers!
ReplyDeleteI would use it as an incentive for some of my struggling and reluctant readers! My kids LOVE technology...so, this would be great for them to use in the classroom!

I would love to have a Nook to use in my kinder classroom as well as using it myself! Thank you for doing this wonderful giveaway. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteI would use this either with my son at home that has a love of reading (but is still learning to read) or/also in my classroom for another engaging tool for students to have to continue to learn to read! (both home and at school are first graders!)

ReplyDeleteI would love to have a Nook for my classroom. Our school has 20 Ipads for the WHOLE school to share and it is very hard to get them to use in the classroom. A Nook would be great to have in my room for my students to use!!
ReplyDeleteWow! What an amazing giveaway. We have a few kindle fires in our classroom that my students use during centers to read and practice a varient of skills, so I would add the Nook to that. ry.hoos@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteAny technology to use in my Kindergarten classroom would be a blessing! I would love to use more of it, but the funding just isn't there in my rural community. I would use the Nook for small groups, Read to Self and Listen to Reading and any other use I can find to enhance the learning in my classroom. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway and just in time for the holidays!
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I'd use it for all the large books on my reading list. They are such a pain to haul around, but something like a Nook makes it easy!
ReplyDeleteMy kids would go nuts for a book to read ebooks
ReplyDeleteAwesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI would use it in my library to teach students about e-books as we are a title 1 school and most of my kids do not have technology at home.
