I just finished something new to help students during work time. It is a flipbook that students keep on the corner of their desk during work time.
When work time begins, students flip to this page:
If a student needs help, but can continue working on his/her assignment until you have time to help him/her, the student will flip to this page:
Please note: There is a boy version and a girl version.
If a student needs help and can't continue with his/her assignment until you help him/her, he/she will flip to this page:
There is also a page students can flip to when they need to use the restroom.
A smiley chart is included as a positive reinforcement tool. You can initial the square when you catch students working extra hard or you can punch a hole in the square.
The packet includes tips for using the system and tips for making the book.
